Blessings to you! I understand the challenges of teaching teens the Bible in a way that truly connects with them. Whether you're a homeschooling parent or a Sunday School or Bible Study teacher, you have likely seen how easy it is for students to disengage when lessons feel boring or irrelevant.  Recognizing this early is very important. Why? Because today’s disengaged Christian child is potentially tomorrows agnostic, atheist or “all roads lead to God” young adult after attending their first semester in college.  I know, because it happened to me.

My Journey

I was raised in the Catholic church. I went to Catholic school—both grade school and High School. But that was not enough to keep me from straying away after going to college. In college, I was introduced to all of the reasons black men should not believe in the Christian God. I read books, saw videos and attended conferences that told me Christianity was the white man’s religion, Jesus was a myth and that he was a copy of the Egyptian gods. Eventually, I came around, but not before a young man who had heard and learned the same things I did was able to reach me. He told me Jesus was the one and only true Saviour of the world and without Him, there is no salvation. Because I did not want to be wrong on this issue, I prayed and eventually God revealed Himself to me and I accepted Christ as the one and only true Savior of man. I later got my undergraduate degree in Secondary Education Spanish and my Master’s in Higher Education Administration. And I made a promise to God that I intend to keep.

My Ministry and Experience in Education

My experience in my current position as Pastor of Strong Tower Church , former high school and middle school teacher, director of a federally funded pre-collegiate program aimed at helping students prepare for college and as an adjunct professor teaching first-year college experience classes to teens transitioning to college, I am uniquely qualified to equip you with the tools and strategies to make biblical instruction engaging, relatable, and transformative to your teenage minds so that when they go off to college they are equipped to defend their faith.

On my journey in the field of education, which included becoming fluent in Spanish during my undergraduate studies in Puerto Rico, I promised God that if he taught me the tools that would make me a successful teacher, then I would use those tools for the Kingdom. This website is all about keeping my word to the King of Kings.

As an experienced educator, I bring proven teaching methods and instructional design principles into faith-based learning. My online course trains parents, Sunday School teachers, and Bible Study leaders to apply these strategies in their homes, churches, and study groups—ensuring that biblical truths are taught in ways that capture attention, encourage participation, and build both Bible knowledge and real-life skills.

Not everyone can afford to pay for a Christian school, but with the right instructional methods, Scripture comes alive, students stay engaged, and faith becomes personal. Whether you are teaching in your home or leading a class at your church, I am here to help you create a learning experience that makes a lasting impact.

Join me in transforming the way the church teaches the Bible to young people—one lesson at a time!
